Ep.5 Small town residents “go to town” online, and Lindsey doesn’t need a mower on her birthday…

We all have access to the same content, but our experiences online are not all the same.

Not only because of the algorithms, but people in small or rural towns don’t get targeted by the same companies. It is harder for them to discover new and up-coming brands… even though they have a lot of buying power.

In this episode, we sit down with Lindsey from Skiatook, a small town of 8,000 in Oklahoma.

We talk about the role and importance of ecommerce in the lives of her community… who shop online for everything they can’t find at Walmart, the only store in town.

…and we’ll see how easily we take something like Parmesan cheese for granted when living in larger cities.

Hope you enjoy, and leave a comment!

This was a really fun interview and I am sure it will spark ideas for your own marketing. And if you need a writer for your business, check out Lindsey’s website at findthewriteway.com.
